By India Today Web Desk: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that they will have to squeeze every single thing out of this season. The Reds are currently placed seventh in the Premier League and face Wolves next.
Speaking ahead of their match, Klopp said they will have to force results and squeeze everything they have during this season.
“We have to force it, we have to play and enjoy what we are doing. I really think we are ready. If there’s a club who can do it, I really think it’s us. Honestly, we will strike back in general. But now we have to make sure we squeeze every single thing out of this season that we can,” said Klopp.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager said it is a very important week for Liverpool and they will have to get results in their upcoming two matches in the league. Liverpool will face Wolves and then lock horns with Manchester United in the Premier League.
“I don’t know what it will be but the obvious spots aren’t too far away from us. We will see which one we can pick up. But there are no alternatives to results: We need results and performances. It’s a super-important week. We don’t need to make it smaller than it is. We have two home games, but tomorrow thank God only one. Not two in one,” Klopp added.
He went on to say that he would love to give Liverpool’s season a little push this week, adding that the team has looked good in their previous few training sessions.
“I would love to give the season a little push this week. And to get a result you need good performances. Nothing I saw since the last game in training gave the impression that we don’t have a chance [to do that]. The few sessions we had looked good,” said Klopp.
